Barcelona to beat Arsenal to Yan Couto?

:Headline: Barcelona to beat Arsenal to Yan Couto?:
Barcelona are reportedly in line to beat Arsenal in the race to sign Brazil Under-17 international Yan Couto.

Arsenal are reportedly likely to miss out on the signing of Coritiba youngster Yan Couto.

Earlier in the January transfer window, it was claimed that the Gunners were leading the race to sign the right-back, regarded as a potential successor to Hector Bellerin.

However, according to Globoesporte, Barcelona have moved to the front of the queue for the Brazil Under-17 international.

The Catalan giants have allegedly held discussions with the teenager's representatives ahead of sealing a deal worth £4.2m.

Bayer Leverkusen have also been monitoring the situation ahead of making an offer for a player who recently helped his nation win the Under-17 World Cup.
