Arsenal to move for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma?

Arsenal are reportedly considering a surprise move for Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma, who is currently spending the season on loan at Everton.

Arsenal have reportedly identified Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma as a potential summer signing.

Zouma has been contracted to the Blues since January 2014, but the France international has spent the last two seasons on loan at Stoke City and Everton respectively.

The 24-year-old could potentially be kept at Stamford Bridge for the next campaign, but according to The Sun, Arsenal are monitoring the situation.

The report claims that the Gunners may be willing to make a move for the centre-back, who still has four years remaining on his contract at the West Londoners.

Arsenal manager Unai Emery is keen to strengthen his backline, but the Spaniard may have to pay in excess of Zouma's valuation given the rivalry between the two clubs.

Zouma has made 30 outings for Everton in the Premier League this season.
