Arsenal have been linked with a bid of around £10m for Mexican winger Jurgen Damm.

The 23-year-old, who plies his trade with Liga MX side Tigres UANL, is ranked by FIFA as the second fastest player in the world after Gareth Bale, with a top speed of 35.23km/h.

Arsene Wenger has been monitoring his performance in South America, according to Medio Tiempo, and will rival Paris Saint-Germain and Sporting Lisbon for his signature when the transfer window opens next month.

The Gunners are expected to spend next month amid an injury crisis as they go in search of their first Premier League title in 12 years.
