Arsenal to battle Liverpool for Thorgan Hazard?

Arsenal join Liverpool in the race to sign Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Thorgan Hazard, according to a report.
By , European Football Editor | 5d

Arsenal have reportedly joined Liverpool in the race to sign Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Thorgan Hazard in this summer's transfer window.

The 25-year-old, who is the brother of Chelsea's Eden Hazard, has scored 12 times and registered 11 assists in 31 appearances for Gladbach this season.

Liverpool and Borussia Dortmund have both been strongly linked with the Belgium international.

However, according to The Sun, Arsenal boss Unai Emery is 'a massive fan' of Hazard, with the Gunners 'closely watching his situation' ahead of the 2019-2020 campaign.

Hazard, who did not make a single appearance for Chelsea during his time at the club, will see his current deal with Gladbach expire at the end of next season.
