Arsenal vs. Nott'm Forest (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Fresh from lifting another trophy aloft in the Wembley sunshine, Arsenal begin their latest bid for Premier League supremacy at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday lunchtime.

The Gunners ended their Manchester City hoodoo to win the Community Shield last weekend and are now out for a slice of revenge against the team who officially ended their title dreams last term.

We say: Arsenal 3-0 Nottingham Forest

Clean sheets at the Emirates may not have been Arsenal's forte last term, but with a couple of Forest's attackers yet to hit full fitness, the Gunners should commence the new season in perfect fashion.

Spirits will already be extremely high in Arteta's camp following their Community Shield success, and Turner's North London homecoming will surely be a miserable one, as the hosts stroll to an opening-day win with a few goals in tow.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Bournemouth vs. West Ham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Andoni Iraola experiences his first taste of Premier League football on Saturday afternoon, as his Bournemouth side host West Ham United at the Vitality Stadium.

The Cherries are entering an exciting new era after salvaging their top-flight status last season, while pessimism is more rife than optimism among the Hammers' fanbase.

We say: Bournemouth 2-2 West Ham United

Given West Ham's worrying defensive displays in pre-season, Iraola's attack-minded Bournemouth can carve out plenty of openings against Moyes's backline, but injuries on the hosts' end will hardly do them any favours either.

The Cherries should certainly be backed to end their three-game scoreless streak against West Ham, but the Irons tend to find the back of the net for fun in this fixture too, and a newly-formed Bournemouth rearguard may also be breached a couple of times in an entertaining stalemate.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Brighton vs. Luton (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Newly-promoted Luton Town travel to the American Express Community Stadium for their first-ever Premier League game away against Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.

The two teams lock horns in a league fixture for the first time since the 2007-08 season when they were both competing in League One – Brighton won both home and away fixtures by an aggregate score of 9-2.

We say: Brighton & Hove Albion 2-0 Luton Town

Luton will attempt to frustrate Brighton and make themselves difficult to break down as they look to claim a positive result on their Premier League debut.

However, the Seagulls have the attacking resources at their disposal to cause the Hatters problems and they should ultimately have too much for Edwards's side on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Everton vs. Fulham (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Everton and Fulham kick off their 2023-24 Premier League campaign with an encounter at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.

The Cottagers head to Merseyside four months on from securing a 3-1 away victory against the Toffees courtesy of goals from Harrison Reed, Harry Wilson and the now departed Daniel James.

We say: Everton 1-1 Fulham

Both clubs will be fired up to make a strong start to the new season and will fancy their chances of picking up all three points in Saturday's encounter.

Only one draw has been played out between these two sides in the last 10 meetings across all competitions, but we believe a closely-fought contest could be on the cards at Goodison Park and we can see the spoils being shared on this occasion.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Sheff Utd vs. Crystal Palace (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Freshly promoted from the Championship, Sheffield United begin their quest to prove the doubters wrong when they kick off their Premier League campaign against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

While Palace arrive at Bramall Lane having been revived by Roy Hodgson last term, their hosts have lost several star names during the summer; making them most pundits' favourites for demotion.

We say: Sheffield United 0-1 Crystal Palace

Bramall Lane must be a fortress for Sheffield United to avoid relegation this season, but they could get off to a losing start on home soil. Given a lack of punch up front, last term's Championship runners-up may fail to score on Saturday, allowing a relatively settled Palace side to claim all three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Newcastle vs. Aston Villa (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Following an eventful encounter between the clubs in pre-season, Newcastle United and Aston Villa meet again on Saturday, when they kick off their new Premier League campaigns at St James' Park.

Having played out a six-goal friendly in Pennsylvania, two teams that surpassed expectations last season will reconvene on Tyneside, where Villa last won a top-flight fixture back in 2005.

We say: Newcastle United 1-1 Aston Villa

Two teams seeking a repeat of last season's success will have to make do with a single point from their opening league game of 2023-24, as they are too well-matched to separate. Both boast a variety of attacking threats, while Villa's defensive restructure should help them cope with Newcastle's potent front line.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
