Arsenal legend Ian Wright picks out Granit Xhaka, Willian and Nicolas Pepe for special praise after the Gunners' 3-1 win at Leicester City in the Premier League.

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has singled out Willian, Nicolas Pepe and Granit Xhaka for special praise after the Gunners' 3-1 triumph at Leicester City in the Premier League.

The Gunners had not won away against a team in the top three for six years before their trip to the King Power Stadium, but they followed up their dramatic Europa League triumph over Benfica with a strong showing against the Foxes.

Pepe, David Luiz and Alexandre Lacazette all found the back of the net on the day as Arsenal ran out deserved winners, and club legend Wright picked out a trio of players who impressed him, while also sending well wishes to the injured Harvey Barnes.

Arsenal's second-highest goalscorer of all time wrote on Twitter: "Xhaka, Willian, Pepe [clap emojis] well done Arsenal. Well done Mikel Arteta. Wish Harvey Barnes a speedy recovery."

Leicester winger Barnes had a rare off-day against Arsenal and was stretchered off with a knee problem which will keep him out for at least six weeks, while Arsenal also lost Emile Smith Rowe to a muscular injury.

The Gunners initially rose to ninth with Sunday's win but have since dropped back down to 10th in the table after Tottenham Hotspur thrashed Burnley.
