Sports Mole looks at how Chelsea could line up for Wednesday's Europa League final showdown with Arsenal in Baku.

Chelsea take on Arsenal in an all-English Europa League final on Wednesday night with plenty on the line for manager Maurizio Sarri.

The Blues cruised through the group stage and saw off Malmo, Dynamo Kiev, Slavia Prague and Eintracht Frankfurt in the knockout rounds to reach the final for the second time in two attempts.

Having claimed third place in the Premier League and finished runners-up in the EFL Cup, Sarri will consider this a good first campaign in English football if his side can beat city rivals Arsenal.

Ahead of the match in Baku, Sports Mole looks at how Chelsea could line up.

Out: Antonio Rudiger (knee), Callum Hudson-Odoi (Achilles), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (Achilles)
Doubtful: N'Golo Kante (knee)

Sarri faces a midfield crisis of sorts as Kante suffered a knee injury in training earlier this week, having only just recovered from a hamstring strain, and he is now a major doubt for the final.

Adding to Sarri's woes is the loss of Loftus-Cheek, another likely starter, due to an Achilles injury suffered during the recent friendly against New England Revolution in the United States.

That leaves Mateo Kovacic and Ross Barkley as the only real options to partner Jorginho, who has not had the best of debut campaigns at Stamford Bridge.

Defender Rudiger and forward Hudson-Odoi are Chelsea's two other confirmed absentees, with neither player part of their squad for the trip to Azerbaijan.

Arguably the biggest of Sarri's decisions comes up top as Olivier Giroud and Gonzalo Higuain are competing for one place through the middle, while Pedro and Willian are battling for another on the opposite flank to key man Eden Hazard.

Giroud has found the net 10 times in the Europa League in 2018-19 - the most by a Chelsea player in a single European season - and is favourite to start ahead of Higuain here.
