The summer transfer window has now closed, with Arsenal pulling off one of the standout deals on deadline day.

The Gunners triggered the release clause of Thomas Partey to cap off a relatively busy summer which saw the likes of Willian and Gabriel Magalhaes join too, and attention will now begin to turn to January.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Emirates Stadium.

Saturday morning's Arsenal transfer talk news roundup:

Arsenal keeping tabs on £50m-rated 'new Thierry Henry'?

Arsenal are reportedly keeping tabs on Slavia Prague starlet Abdallah Sima, a youngster being dubbed the 'new Thierry Henry'.

Sima has been in scintillating form for the Czech giants this season and boasts 14 goal contributions in all competitions, including three goals and one assist in the Europa League.

The 19-year-old has naturally been attracting interest from across Europe with his performances and has been likened to Arsenal legend Henry following his breakthrough campaign.

According to Calciomercato, Arsenal have taken a liking to Sima, who is valued at a staggering £50m by Slavia Prague president Jaroslav Tvrdik.

However, the report adds that Juventus are keeping an eye on the Senegalese forward as well, and scouts from both clubs are closely monitoring Sima's progress in the Fortuna Liga.

Sima is contracted to Slavia until the end of the 2022-23 campaign.

Arsenal on verge of Omar Rekik deal?

Hertha Berlin youngster Omar Rekik is seemingly on the verge of completing a transfer to Arsenal.

The Gunners had been keen to sign the 18-year-old during the summer transfer window, only to run out of time to finalise a deal for the teenager.

However, it has previously been suggested that the defender would eventually move to the Emirates Stadium at the beginning of 2021.

On Thursday, Rekik took to Instagram to show that he had boarded a flight to London, a development which will only intensify speculation regarding a switch to the Premier League side.

Should the Dutch-born player sign a contract with Arsenal, he would likely spend time in the academy setup or be sent out on loan for the second half of the season.

Rekik has not made a first-team appearance during his time at Hertha.
