Curtis Campher has cemented his name in the record books after taking four wickets in as many balls during Ireland's win over Netherlands at the T20 World Cup.

Ireland have also been paired with Sri Lanka and Namibia in Group A, heaping the pressure on the Green Army ahead of their qualification fixture in Abu Dhabi.

However, Campher produced a famous spelling of bowling, reducing Netherlands from 51-2 to 51-6 in the 10th over of the contest.

Having removed Ryan ten Doeschate for his second wicket, Campher trapped Scott Edwards in front of his stumps to claim his hat-trick.

In an attempt to get Netherlands back on the front foot, Roelof van der Merwe could only play the ball onto his own stumps to give Campher a permanent slice of history.

After dismissing Netherlands for 106, Ireland prevailed by seven wickets after reaching their target with 29 balls to spare.

Ireland are next in action when they face Sri Lanka on Wednesday before a potential qualification decider with Namibia on Friday.
