A decision by the WBA on whether a world title fight between Anthony Joshua and Wladimir Klitschko will go ahead has been delayed due to "legal matters".
Promoter Eddie Hearn confirmed earlier this week that IBF champion Joshua will fight in Manchester on December 10, regardless of who his opponent is.
Klitschko is expected to target a bout with Lucas Browne in Germany should the vacant WBA belt not be on the line, though any decision over whether that will be the case has yet to be made.
Speaking to ESPN, president of the organisation Gilberto Mendoza said that there were "too many legal matters to consider" with regards to a planned fight with Browne, having failed to deliver a verdict by Thursday's initial deadline.
Kubrat Pulev, Eric Molina or David Price are Joshua's likely next opponent should Klitschko look elsewhere.
