Great Britain's Richard Kilty sets second-fastest 60m time

Great Britain's Richard Kilty runs 6.50 seconds to clock the second-fastest time of 2016 over 60m.

British sprinter Richard Kilty has set the second-fastest 60m time of 2016 in the Czech Republic.

The Scot, who recently confirmed that he will not be defending his World Indoor Championships crown over that distance, clocked a time of 6.50 seconds.

It is the fastest time recorded by a European athlete this year, while only Jamaica's Asafa Powell at 6.49 seconds has gone quicker.

Kilty's compatriot Theo Etienne also competed at the Jablonec Indoor Gala, where he ran a personal best time of 6.56 seconds.
