Sergio Ramos 'takes Cristiano Ronaldo to dinner'

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos reportedly decides to take Cristiano Ronaldo out to dinner in a bid to convince the Portuguese star that he is wanted at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has reportedly been tasked with improving Cristiano Ronaldo's mood at the Bernabeu.

Over the past six months, Ronaldo has been heavily linked with a transfer away from the European champions, with Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain said to be on standby if an exit become a realistic possibility.

However, Ronaldo still has a long-term contract at the club and according to Marca, president Florentino Perez is keen for an improvement in the player's form.

A report has claimed that a team meeting was held which resulted in Ramos going out for dinner with the forward in an attempt to bolster his happiness at the La Liga side.

Ronaldo was on the scoresheet as Real thrashed Deportivo La Coruna at the weekend, but the 32-year-old still only has six goals from 15 league outings this season.
