Wolverhampton Wanderers and Brentford have allegedly identified Bromley youngster Kellen Fisher as a potential transfer target.

Such has been the development of both Premier League clubs in recent years that more high-profile names have been signed than at any point in their history.

Brentford are currently challenging for European qualification, while Wolves, recent quarter-finalists in the Europa League, have attracted some star names since the arrival of Julen Lopetegui.

Nevertheless, the owners of each team have also shown a certain level of focus on acquiring younger, unproven players with the aim of finding value for money in the market.

Last summer, Wolves signed the likes of Alfie Pond and Dom Plank from Exeter City and Dorking Wanderers to strengthen their academy squads.

Meanwhile, Brentford have brought in the likes of Aldershot Town's Lucias Vine, Dorking's Beaux Booth, and Slough Town's Edon Pruti over the past two transfer windows.

According to The Sun, Wolves and the Bees may end up going head-to-head to acquire another prospect from non-league football.

The report claims that scouts from each club have been left impressed by the progress of Fisher, who has been earning regular minutes in the National League.

Fisher has made as many as 19 appearances in the fifth tier of English football this campaign, accumulating 1,543 minutes of game time.

The 18-year-old has often featured in a wing-back role, a system which each of Wolves and Brentford have used on numerous occasions this campaign.

Last month, Bromley announced that Fisher had penned his first professional contract, and he has since become a mainstay in Andy Woodman's starting lineup.

Bromley are currently bidding to earn a playoff spot, although they trail seventh position in the National League table by seven points with eight fixtures remaining. body check tags ::
