Inter Milan defender Andrea Ranocchia is reportedly attracting interest from West Bromwich Albion.

Ranocchia spent the second half of last season on loan at Hull City, where he scored two goals from 16 appearances, but it appears that he may have the option of returning to the Premier League.

According to reports in Italy, West Brom are contemplating whether to make a move for the 29-year-old, who is currently out of favour at San Siro.

Since joining the Serie A giants in 2010, Ranocchia has made 166 appearances in all competitions, with 129 of those coming in the league.

The Baggies are yet to make a signing during the current transfer window, despite being short at centre-back and having witnessed key midfielder Darren Fletcher make the switch to Stoke City on a free transfer.

There has also been speculation regarding Jonny Evans, who is allegedly a transfer target of Leicester City.
