Saturday's Championship predictions including West Brom vs. Bristol City

:Headline: Saturday's Championship predictions including West Brom vs. Bristol City: ID:468056: from db_amp
Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Saturday's Championship fixtures, including West Bromwich Albion vs. Bristol City.

Cardiff vs. Middlesbrough (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Cardiff City play host to former manager Neil Warnock's Middlesbrough on Saturday lunchtime seeking to put a halt to their worst run of form since 1934.

The Bluebirds are hovering right above the relegation zone on the back of seven successive defeats, whereas Boro are up in 10th thanks to back-to-back victories.

We say: Cardiff City 1-1 Middlesbrough

Cardiff are on their worst run of form at home since 1974 and never before have they lost six games on the bounce on their own patch.

Boro have themselves lost successive games on their travels, though, and despite being in better form overall, we can see Warnock's men being held to a draw on Saturday.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Bournemouth vs. Huddersfield (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Championship leaders Bournemouth travel to playoff contenders Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon.

The Cherries are five points clear at the top of the second tier, while the Terriers are inside the top six on goal difference.

We say: Bournemouth 2-0 Huddersfield Town

It would seem naïve to bet against Bournemouth in the form that they are in so we think the Cherries will be victorious again on Saturday. Huddersfield's defence has proved resolute in recent weeks though and the Terriers are on their own unbeaten run, so it will not be a walkover for Parker's side.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Birmingham vs. Swansea (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Swansea City will be looking to continue their ascent up the Championship table when they take on Birmingham City at St. Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Swans have won back-to-back games to climb into 15th place, while Birmingham are four points and four places worse off after going seven games without a victory.

We say: Birmingham City 0-0 Swansea City

Birmingham were 1-0 winners when these sides last met in April and are seeking back-to-back wins in this fixture for the first time since January 1992.

The Swans have momentum on their side, whereas Birmingham have not picked up a win or scored a goal since September, but we are backing the hosts to claim a point this weekend.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Blackburn vs. Reading (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Blackburn Rovers play host to Reading on Saturday afternoon looking to end a run of four games without a win in the Championship.

Rovers are currently two points adrift of eighth-placed Reading, who have prevailed in four of their last six fixtures.

We say: Blackburn Rovers 2-1 Reading

Each team's inconsistency should result in an entertaining fixture at Ewood Park. We expect a winning goal in the closing stages, most likely from Rovers who are more in need of maximum points.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Blackpool vs. Preston (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Blackpool and Preston North End meet in the West Lancashire derby in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

The derby has taken place across all of the top four divisions of English football, but this will be the first league meeting between the two sides since 2010.

We say: Blackpool 2-1 Preston North End

Blackpool have settled well in the Championship and probably head into the derby as favourites, but Preston's midweek win will have given them a confidence boost. A fiery game should be in store with local bragging rights on the line and we think the hosts will just sneak victory.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Coventry vs. Derby (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Bottom-of-the-table Derby County travel to Coventry City in the Championship on Saturday afternoon.

The Rams are seven points adrift of safety due to their 12 point deduction for going into administration, while the Sky Blues are flying high in fourth.

We say: Coventry City 1-0 Derby County

Considering Coventry's perfect home record and Derby's patchy away record, this game seems likely to end only one way. That said, the Rams are not easily beaten and will certainly make life difficult for the Sky Blues.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Luton vs. Hull City (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Luton Town welcome Hull City to Kenilworth Road on Saturday afternoon looking to extend their unbeaten streak in the Championship to five games.

Despite their recent improvement, the Tigers make the long trip South on the back of a 2-1 reverse at home to relegation rivals Peterborough United.

We say: Luton Town 2-0 Hull City

McCann may encourage his Hull players to throw more caution to the wind at Kenilworth Road in a bid to get back on track. However, we can only back the home side to prevail, the Hatters seemingly in good shape to record three points with the added bonus of a clean sheet.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Millwall vs. Stoke (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Stoke City head into Saturday's Championship fixture at Millwall looking to bounce back from defeats to Sheffield United and Bournemouth.

While the Potters currently sit in seventh position in the standings, their 11th-placed opponents will move level with them with victory at The Den.

We say: Millwall 1-1 Stoke City

If ever a game looks like a low-scoring draw, this has to be it, right? With both teams performing better in defence than in attack, we are predicting a competitive share of the spoils in East London.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Peterborough vs. QPR (Saturday, 3.00pm)

Championship playoff contenders Queens Park Rangers travel to struggling Peterborough United on Saturday afternoon.

The Hoops are fifth in the table following a promising start to the campaign, while Posh are fighting to avoid an immediate return to League One.

We say: Peterborough United 0-2 Queens Park Rangers

QPR's potent attack will fancy their chances against Peterborough's weak defence and we think the visitors will take all three points. A midweek win for Posh will have boosted their confidence, but the Hoops will expect to win a game like this if they are to finish in the top six this season.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

West Brom vs. Bristol City (Saturday, 3.00pm)

West Bromwich Albion play host to Bristol City on Saturday afternoon looking to bounce back from their surprise defeat at Swansea City.

At a time when the Baggies have dropped into third position in the Championship table, Bristol City are down in 16th place after their dramatic loss at home to Nottingham Forest.

We say: West Bromwich Albion 3-0 Bristol City

While both teams were left frustrated in midweek, we feel that there will be only one winner in this game. West Brom are in need of delivering a statement-like performance, and that could arrive against opponents who are low in belief.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
