Team News: Uruguay make two changes for Saudi Arabia game

Uruguay make two changes to their starting lineup for the World Cup fixture with Saudi Arabia in Rostov-on-Don.

Uruguay have made two changes to their starting lineup for the World Cup fixture with Saudi Arabia in Rostov-on-Don.

Last week, Uruguay required a late goal from Jose Gimenez to secure a 1-0 victory over Egypt, and boss Oscar Tabarez has reacted by making alterations to his midfield.

Carlos Sanchez and Cristian Rodriguez are the two players to come into the team, with Giorgian De Arrascaeta and Nahitan Nandez missing out.

Luis Suarez underperformed in his team's opening game, but the Barcelona forward makes his 100th appearance for his country on Wednesday.

As for Saudi Arabia, coach Juan Antonio Pizzi has made as many as four changes for their must-win match in Russia.

Both of the squad's frontmen - Mohammad Al-Sahlawi and Muhannad Assiri - have been left on the substitutes' bench.

Uruguay: Muslera; Varela, Gosin, Gimenez, Caceres; Sanches, Bentancur, Vecino, Rodriguez; Suarez, Cavani

Saudi Arabia: Al Owais; Osama, Ali, Alburayk, Salman, Hatan, Yasser, Otayf, Taiseer, Salem, Fahad
