Sports Mole rounds up all of the latest transfer news in La Liga on Sunday, February 14.

Sunday morning's La Liga transfer talk news roundup:

Real Madrid 'eyeing move for Aymeric Laporte'

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in bringing Manchester City defender Aymeric Laporte to the Bernabeu during this summer's transfer window.

Los Blancos could be in the market for at least one new centre-back ahead of next season, with the futures of both Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane unclear.

A number of players, including Bayern Munich's David Alaba and Sevilla's Jules Kounde, have been linked with moves to the Spanish capital this summer.

However, according to the Daily Star, Laporte has also been identified by Zinedine Zidane's side as a potential arrival, with the 26-year-old losing his spot in City's first XI.

Laporte has started three of his side's last four Premier League matches but is now behind Ruben Dias and John Stones in the pecking order when it comes to the centre-back spots at the Etihad Stadium.

Despite falling out of favour, it is thought that Madrid would have to come up with an offer in the region of £57m to convince the Citizens to part with the Frenchman this summer.

Laporte made 222 appearances for Athletic Bilbao before joining Pep Guardiola's team in 2018.

Manchester United 'make Jules Kounde top target after missing out on Dayot Upamecano'

Manchester United will reportedly press ahead with a move for Sevilla's Jules Kounde during this summer's transfer window, having missed out on RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano to Bayern Munich.

A number of clubs, including United, were strongly linked with Upamecano, but Bayern have confirmed that they are set to sign the France international at the end of the 2020-21 campaign.

The 20-time English champions will allegedly spend big on a new centre-back this summer as head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer seeks a long-term partner for Harry Maguire.

According to The Express, the Red Devils have identified Kounde as their leading target, with the 22-year-old again impressing for Sevilla during the current season.

The Frenchman, who joined Julen Lopetegui's side from Bordeaux in July 2019, has contributed three goals in 31 appearances for the Europa League winners this term.

United could face competition from Real Madrid for Kounde, though, with the Spanish champions said to view the defender as the ideal replacement for club captain Sergio Ramos.
