Watford are reportedly pushing to complete a deal for Tottenham Hotspur's £25m-rated full-back Danny Rose before the end of the transfer window.

Watford have reportedly made a late move to sign Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur on deadline day.

The 29-year-old was left out of Tottenham's pre-season tour to Asia earlier this summer in order to "explore opportunities with other clubs", with Mauricio Pochettino keen to refresh his full-back options.

Spurs are more reluctant to let Rose leave on deadline day until they are able to source a replacement, although Ryan Sessegnon is understood to be on the verge of joining from Fulham.

Should that deal go through then Daniel Levy could sanction an exit for England international Rose, who is valued at around £25m.

The Daily Mail reports that Watford are pushing to complete a transfer before today's 5pm deadline, although Spurs are not in such a rush with Paris Saint-Germain also interested.

The French champions have until September 2 to sign players, meaning that Tottenham could still sell Rose after the English window closes this afternoon.
