Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly willing to do away with as many as eight players before the end of the transfer window.

Antonio Conte's side have been extremely active in terms of incomings this summer, with Djed Spence arriving earlier this week as their sixth acquisition.

Fraser Forster and Ivan Perisic have both arrived on free transfers, while Clement Lenglet has joined on loan, and the club spent big to bring Richarlison and Yves Bissouma to the club.

In terms of outgoings, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Steven Bergwijn and Jack Clarke have all moved on to pastures new, but plenty more could follow in the coming weeks.

According to the Evening Standard, Conte could do away with as many as eight names ahead of the 2022-23 season, including a quartet of players who were left out of his pre-season tour squad.

Giovani Lo Celso, Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Winks and Sergio Reguilon were not on the plane to South Korea, and all four are expected to seal moves elsewhere soon.

Lo Celso played an important role for Villarreal during their run to the Champions League semi-finals last term, and Unai Emery is keen to bring him back to La Ceramica.

A fee of £20m may be required to part ways with Lo Celso, who still has three years left to run on his contract, while Ndombele is back at the club after a spell back at Lyon.

Les Gones ultimately passed up on their offer to re-sign the Frenchman, who stated earlier this month that he could still be "happy" if he stayed at Tottenham.

Meanwhile, multiple Premier League clubs including Everton, Crystal Palace and Southampton are being tipped to move for Winks, who only started nine Premier League games last season.

Reguilon is now seemingly Spurs' third-choice wing-back behind Ryan Sessegnon and Perisic, and Barcelona have supposedly been offered the chance to sign the Spaniard on loan.

Further defensive outgoings could also occur in the shape of Japhet Tanganga and Emerson Royal, with the former understood to be in talks over a move to AC Milan on loan with an option to buy.

With Spence slotting right into the Tottenham XI on the right-hand side, Emerson and Matt Doherty are both being tipped to find new clubs during the current window.

Finally, sporting director Fabio Paratici is also understood to be in Italy to discuss a move to Sampdoria for Bryan Gil, as well as finalising Tanganga's Milan switch.

Conte has allegedly questioned whether Gil is suited to Premier League football, and the 21-year-old did not start a single top-flight game for Spurs in the first half of the 2021-22 season before being loaned out to Valencia. body check tags ::
