Tottenham Hotspur plan to sell Paulo Gazzaniga on a permanent basis this summer, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly planning to sell Paulo Gazzaniga during this summer's transfer window.

The 29-year-old was allowed to join Spanish outfit Elche on loan in January, having failed to make a single appearance for Spurs in the first half of the 2020-21 campaign.

Gazzaniga is also yet to represent Elche since his arrival, having been been on the bench for their last three league matches against Villarreal, Celta Vigo and Eibar.

The Argentine's contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is due to expire in June 2022, and according to Football Insider, the stopper will be told this summer that he is free to leave on a permanent basis.

The report claims that Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho 'does not trust' the South American, with Joe Hart signed last summer as number two to Hugo Lloris, who has struggled for form this term.

Gazzaniga has only made 37 appearances for Spurs in all competitions since arriving in 2017. body check tags ::
