Swansea City to bring in Cameron Carter-Vickers on loan?

Young Tottenham Hotspur defender Cameron Carter-Vickers will reportedly spend the duration of the 2018-19 campaign on loan with Championship side Swansea City.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to send defender Cameron Carter-Vickers on loan to Swansea City for the remainder of the season.

The United States international is yet to feature for Spurs in the Premier League and is not expected to be a part of Mauricio Pochettino's plans for the 2018-19 campaign.

According to The Sun, Swansea have made their interest known and Spurs are happy to offload the 20-year-old to the second-tier side.

Swansea have already lost Alfie Mawson and Federico Fernandez during the summer transfer window, leaving them with just a couple of fit centre-backs.

Carter-Vickers made 17 appearances on loan at Sheffield United in the first half of last season, before featuring the same number of times for fellow Championship club Ipswich Town from mid-January onwards.
