Premier League trio Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Brighton & Hove Albion have reportedly made contact with Juventus winger Samuel Iling-Junior.

The 20-year-old was born in London and began his youth career at Chelsea before joining Italian giants Juve in September 2020.

After impressing for Juve's Under-19s side, scoring 14 goals and providing 15 assists in 58 appearances, Iling-Junior was handed his senior debut for the Serie A club in October 2022.

The winger went on to make 18 first-team appearances under manager Massimiliano Allegri last season, but he has since struggled for regular game time this term.

Indeed, Iling-Junior has featured for just 129 minutes across six substitute appearances this season, with the likes of Timothy Weah, Filip Kostic and Andrea Cambiaso all preferred ahead of him in wide areas.

Iling-Junior's long-term future at Juventus is believed to be uncertain, with the Turin-based club believed to be open to selling the youngster for the right price in January.

A recent report claims that Tottenham have moved ahead of Newcastle United in the race to sign Iling-Junior, who is under contract at Juve until June 2025.

However, Tuttomercatoweb claims that Aston Villa and Brighton are set to rival Spurs for the signature of the England Under-21 international.

The report adds that all three Premier League clubs are considering a move for Iling-Junior and have made initial contact with Juventus, although no formal offers have been tabled just yet.

Juve are understood to have reduced their asking price of the winger and are now prepared to entertain offers in the region of €18m (£15.6m).

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou is believed to be keen to bolster his squad with three new signings in January, including a new attacker as Manor Solomon, Ryan Sessegnon, Ivan Perisic and James Maddison are all sidelined with injuries at present.

As for Villa, Unai Emery has been tipped to strengthen his attack to provide competition for the likes of Ollie Watkins, Moussa Diaby and Leon Bailey as the club attempts to continue their surprise title charge in the Premier League and progress further in the Europa Conference League.

Brighton, meanwhile, are also competing in Europe having qualified for the Europa League last 16, but they have had to cope without injured trio Solly March, Julio Enciso and Danny Welbeck for some time, while Ansu Fati is the latest name to enter the treatment room, so Roberto De Zerbi could look to recruit a new forward in January. body check tags ::
