Christian Eriksen has reportedly indicated that he has no desire to negotiate a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur.

With less than a year remaining on his existing deal, it was expected that Eriksen would either pen fresh terms or sign for another club this summer.

However, as it stands, neither of those possibilities have materialised, and it appears that a departure on a free transfer in 2020 remains a strong possibility.

According to The Mirror, the 27-year-old is not prepared to discuss an extended contract with the North London outfit, despite their willingness to pay out £200,000 per week.

Eriksen is said to want a move to either Real Madrid or Barcelona, although it appears unlikely that either of the two Spanish giants will make an approach over the next week.

Spurs are allegedly contemplating whether they would be prepared to sell Eriksen for £30m.
