Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Tottenham on Thursday, September 3.

The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Tottenham Hotspur eye possible reinforcements.

Spurs were among the biggest spenders during the January transfer window but are expected to be active again in the summer as Jose Mourinho continues to mould his squad.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Thursday morning's Tottenham Hotspur transfer talk news roundup:

Tottenham Hotspur open to Tanguy Ndombele offers?

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly entertain offers for out-of-favour midfielder Tanguy Ndombele this summer.

The Frenchman, who became the club's record signing when he arrived in a £54m deal from Lyon last summer, endured a torrid inaugural campaign with Spurs in the most recent season.

Ndombele's troubles with manager Jose Mourinho have been well-documented, and the 23-year-old midfielder only started 12 Premier League games in the 2019-20 campaign.

According to the Daily Mail, Mourinho has been left less than impressed with Ndombele's lack of willingness to learn, and Spurs will look to move the midfielder on this summer.

However, the same report suggests that the Lilywhites will struggle to recoup anything close to the £54m they forked out for Ndombele given the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic.

Ndombele was recently withdrawn from the France squad for their Nations League fixtures after testing positive for COVID-19.

Manchester United 'line up Milan Skriniar as Dayot Upamecano alternative'

Manchester United have reportedly made contact with Inter Milan to discuss a potential deal for Milan Skriniar during this summer's transfer window.

The Red Devils are allegedly in the market for a new central defender and have recently been credited with an interest in RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano.

However, German journalist Christian Falk claimed on Wednesday morning that the Red Devils were not in for the Frenchman, who has a contract with his current club until June 2023.

According to FCInterNews, United have enquired over the availability of Skriniar amid suggestions that the 25-year-old could be on the move before the transfer deadline.

Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest, while Manchester City were believed to be keen on a deal for the Slovakia international last summer before ultimately being priced out of a move.

Skriniar fell down the pecking order at San Siro in the latter stages of last season and could allegedly be available for £50m during this summer's transfer window.
