How Tottenham Hotspur could line up against Fulham

Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham Hotspur could line up for their Premier League clash with Fulham on Wednesday.

Tottenham Hotspur will be aiming to return to winning ways in their final match of 2020 as they play host to Fulham on Wednesday evening.

The Lilywhites have collected two points from the last 12 on offer, a run that has seen them slip from the top of the table and out of the top four.

Jose Mourinho may be tempted to make changes to his side on the back of Sunday's 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers, with certain players showing signs of fatigue.

Here, Sports Mole looks at how Tottenham could line up against London rivals Fulham.

Out: Giovani Lo Celso (hamstring)
Doubtful: Gareth Bale (calf)

Giovani Lo Celso has been ruled out of the remainder of Tottenham's festive and new year fixtures, while Gareth Bale missed the draw with Wolves because of a calf strain.

Mourinho has plenty of options to choose from, with the likes of Dele Alli and Joe Rodon - who have started two league games between them this term - desperate for inclusion.

That would be a big call should Mourinho opt to bring Alli in from the cold, but if not now then when for the English playmaker?

Further changes in attack are unlikely, though, given the importance of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min to this side.

Kane is without a goal in three league matches, but he is the second highest goalscorer in London derbies in Premier League history with 35 - only Arsenal legend Thierry Henry has netted more (43).
