Harry Kane says that he and his Tottenham Hotspur teammates 'cannot speak highly enough' of head coach Antonio Conte.

Harry Kane has backed head coach Antonio Conte to eventually 'enforce a winning culture' at Tottenham Hotspur.

The North London outfit have been inconsistent since Conte's arrival in November, winning 13 and losing nine of the Italian's 25 matches in charge.

However, while there has been ongoing speculation about Conte's long-term future, Kane has insisted that both he and his teammates have become huge admirers of a manager who has a proven track record in the Premier League and Italy.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Kane said: "Obviously I still feel like we're in a process. We went two or three years challenging for trophies then we dropped off over the last couple of years. With Antonio, he's building a culture that he wants to be and wants to put us back in that place.

"Of course the manager is working as hard as he can and the players are working. It's not a quick fix that happens overnight, it takes time and understanding. He needs to talk to the club and chairman and to see what direction we need to go as a club. We can't speak highly enough of him."

Spurs currently sit in eighth position in the Premier League standings, six points adrift of fourth-placed Arsenal having played two games more than their neighbours. body check tags ::
