Tottenham Hotspur ace Dele Alli 'ruled out for up to a month'

Dele Alli is to miss Tottenham Hotspur's next three games, as well as England's meetings with Croatia and Spain, according to a report.

Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly be without Dele Alli for up to a month as the midfielder has suffered an injury setback.

The 22-year-old returned to action from the bench at Brighton & Hove Albion last weekend following a short spell on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Dele, who sustained that knock while on international duty with England earlier this month, also got a full 90 minutes under his belt in the midweek EFL Cup tie against Watford.

According to The Sun, however, the ex-MK Dons ace felt sore in training on Friday and will now miss a string of games for club and country as he recovers from the niggling problem.

The report suggests that Dele will sit out Tottenham's trip to Huddersfield Town on Saturday and the visit of Barcelona in the Champions League next week, as well as the league meeting with Cardiff City.

Gareth Southgate is also unlikely to call up the midfielder for England's UEFA Nations League ties with Croatia and Spain.
