How Wolverhampton Wanderers could line up against Tottenham Hotspur

By , Reporter | 4d
Ahead of the Premier League clash between Wolves and Spurs, Sports Mole looks at how Nuno Espirito Santo's side could line up at Molineux.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head into Saturday's Premier League showdown with Tottenham Hotspur looking to avoid a third successive defeat in the top flight.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side have recorded 15 points from their opening 10 matches this season, but back-to-back setbacks have been suffered against Watford and Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Portuguese must also find a way to solve his side's problems in front of goal, with just nine strikes coming in the league during the current campaign.

Nuno has only made one change to his side in the Premier League this season, and here Sports Mole looks at how his team could line up against the North London outfit.

Barring any late fitness issues, Nuno will have a full squad to choose from on Saturday night, but that does not necessarily mean that many changes will be made.

The defence and midfield have continued to do the job asked of them, and that should mean that the same eight players will all retain their spot in the starting lineup.

Raul Jimenez is also expected to lead the line - despite only contributing two goals in 10 matches - but Nuno could decide to make alterations with his creative midfielders.

Ivan Cavaleiro has been eased back into action after a pre-season injury but after four substitute outings in the league, the winger could get his chance in the first XI.

Adama Traore is likely to drop down to the bench and be used as an impact substitute, meaning that Diogo Jota and Helder Costa could be left to battle it out for the remaining place in the team.
