Southampton reportedly have no plans to sack head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl, despite the club's disappointing drop-off in form.

Since the beginning of March, the Saints have lost nine of their last 12 games across all competitions, winning only once and drawing the other two.

The South coast outfit have failed to win any of their five Premier League matches against Burnley, Brighton & Hove Albion, Crystal Palace, Brentford and Liverpool, conceding 11 goals in the process.

Southampton are in no danger of relegation but their slump in form has seen them slip down to 15th in the Premier League table, where they finished last season, just five points above the bottom three.

According to The Sun, internal discussions among the club's hierarchy recently took place regarding Hasenhuttl's future, but the Saints have decided that they are happy for the Austrian to remain in charge.

The report adds that the 54-year-old remains central to the club's long-term plans and they intend to back the manager in this summer's transfer window.

Hasenhuttl has been at St Mary's since December 2018 and has managed a total of 157 games, winning 56 drawing 35 and losing 66. body check tags ::
