San Jose came away empty-handed from a thrilling 4-3 contest against Houston Dynamo on Sunday when the teams faced off at the PNC Stadium.

Goals from Sebastian Ferreira and Darwin Quintero cancelled out a Jeremy Ebobisse brace to ensure parity going into the break, before Teenage Hadebe and the aforementioned Ferreira netted in the second half, rendering Tommy Thompson's strike inconsequential.

Shea Salinas is yet to recover from a long-term knee problem, and the midfielder is ruled out for the home side.

San Jose will also be without the services of Nathan due to a torn meniscus which the Brazilian suffered back in October.

George Asomani continues to nurse a hip injury, with the 23-year-old's return to action still a long way off.

Nashville's Teal Bunbury hobbled off with a hamstring problem two weeks ago in a 2-1 defeat against Real Salt Lake.

Charles Sapong is one to look out for in this one having scored in two of his last three starts away from home.
