Sunday's Serie A predictions including Lazio vs. AC Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Lazio vs. AC Milan.

Salernitana vs. Fiorentina (Sunday, 11.30am)

With momentum building behind their quest for Serie A survival, 20th-placed Salernitana welcome top-six contenders Fiorentina to Stadio Arechi on Sunday.

After Simone Verdi's late winner at Udinese in midweek, the Granata have posted back-to-back victories to pull within six points of safety, while their visitors suffered semi-final heartbreak in the Coppa Italia last time out.

We say: Salernitana 1-2 Fiorentina

In contrast to their ownership of the second-best home record in Serie A, Fiorentina tend to struggle away from Florence, and victory will be far from straightforward at the Arechi, given their hosts' desperate desire for points.

Nonetheless, the Viola are set to record their seventh Serie A win on the road this term, thanks to their capabilities in the final third - which Salernitana are ill-equipped to withstand.

Our tipster partners are predicting an away win.

Bologna vs. Udinese (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Denied their biggest scalp of the season by a late equaliser last weekend, Bologna welcome mid-table counterparts Udinese to Stadio Renato Dall'Ara on Sunday.

While a stoppage-time strike by Dusan Vlahovic denied the Rossoblu victory at Juventus, their visitors went down to Serie A's bottom side Salernitana - ending a three-match winning streak.

We say: Bologna 1-1 Udinese

Each of the last four league meetings between these clubs has ended in a draw, and a second 1-1 result of the season is among the likelier outcomes this time around.

Neither side is particularly prolific - certainly with Beto and Arnautovic both sidelined - and they stand side-by-side in the standings, so the spoils should be shared once again.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Empoli vs. Napoli (Sunday, 2.00pm)

With their Scudetto hopes hanging by a thread, Napoli travel to Tuscany on Sunday, where they meet an ailing Empoli side without a win in 2022.

The Azzurri-clad clubs convene at Stadio Carlo Castellani after the visitors blew a lead to drop points against Roma last time out, while their hosts were beaten yet again - going 16 games without success for the first time in Serie A.

We say: Empoli 0-2 Napoli

Empoli have scored only twice in their last six games; winning just three times at home all season. They should therefore be a welcome proposition for Napoli, who cannot afford to falter in the final few weeks.

It may not be entirely straightforward for the Partenopei, given the pressure on their shoulders, but they can break their brittle hosts down more than once over the course of 90 minutes.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Genoa vs. Cagliari (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Genoa and Cagliari square off in Serie A on Sunday evening know that the fixture at Stadio Luigi Ferraris is arguably the most important of both their seasons.

With five games remaining, 18th-placed Genoa trail Cagliari, who sit directly above them and the relegation zone, by six points and realistically require maximum points given their previous efforts this season.

We say: Genoa 1-1 Cagliari

Genoa are past the point where draws are any use to them and must go all out for maximum points against direct rivals, particularly with the game being on home territory. Nevertheless, Cagliari will treat this fixture as a must-not-lose, and we are backing the visitors to claim a hard-earned share of the spoils.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Lazio vs. AC Milan (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Seeking to bounce back immediately from derby defeat in the Coppa Italia, AC Milan's pursuit of the Scudetto continues on Sunday night, against Lazio.

The Rossoneri arrive at Stadio Olimpico having seen a 13-match unbeaten run ended by arch-rivals Inter, while their hosts have won four of their last six Serie A games to stay in the race for European qualification.

We say: Lazio 1-0 AC Milan

There is little to choose between two of the teams to have kept the most clean sheets in 2022 - nine for Milan and six for Lazio (who are joint-second in that regard) - so goals could be at a premium.

The Rossoneri are under more intense pressure than their Roman rivals, and may crack at some point, which would have serious consequences for their dreams of the Scudetto.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
