Paris Saint-Germain attacker Kylian Mbappe is 'increasingly likely' to sign a new deal at the club, according to a report.

The France international's future has been one of the major talking points in world football for the past year as he runs down the final few months of his deal at the Parc des Princes.

Real Madrid are still regarded as the front-runners for Mbappe's signature, but an exit from Mauricio Pochettino's side is seemingly not concluded just yet.

According to France Bleu - via Get French Football News - PSG are now optimistic about their chances of a new deal for the 23-year-old, who could be set to perform a U-turn on his future.

After scoring two goals and providing three assists in Sunday's 5-1 Ligue 1 win over Lorient, Mbappe insisted that he could remain in the French capital, with "new elements" coming into play with regards to his decision.

Mbappe's haul at the weekend took him up to 160 goals and 81 assists in 209 matches for Les Parisiens, including 17 goals and 13 assists from 27 Ligue 1 games this term. body check tags ::
