Wednesday's Scottish Premiership predictions including Aberdeen vs. Celtic

Sports Mole provides score predictions for all of Wednesday's Scottish Premiership fixtures, including Aberdeen vs. Celtic.

Hibernian vs. Livingston (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Hibernian host Livingston in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday evening, hoping to claim their first top-flight victory on home soil against the Lions since February 2006.

Meanwhile, David Martindale's side have won just once in their last eight league games, conceding 18 goals in the process.

We say: Hibernian 2-2 Livingston

In recent weeks, neither Hibs nor Livingston have looked strong defensively, which means there could be plenty of goalmouth action on Wednesday.

With little to separate the two teams, who have claimed four points from each other so far this season, we can see an entertaining score draw played out at Easter Road.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Hamilton vs. Motherwell (Wednesday, 6.00pm)

Basement club Hamilton Academical host Motherwell in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday evening, hoping for a win which will enable them to climb out of the bottom two for the first time in over a month.

The Accies have claimed three points in only one of their last 13 league matches, while the Steelmen have won three of their last four games in the top-flight.

We say: Hamilton Academical 1-1 Motherwell

Given their recent results against Motherwell, Hamilton will feel that Wednesday's match is a great opportunity to secure three precious points that could see them climb out of the relegation zone.

The Steelmen, however, head into this fixture at the Fountain of Youth Stadium in better form and we feel that they could frustrate the hosts and claim at least a point on the road.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

St Johnstone vs. Rangers (Wednesday, 7.00pm)

Scottish Premiership champions Rangers travel to St Johnstone on Wednesday evening, hoping to extend their unbeaten league record to 35 matches.

Meanwhile, the hosts have enjoyed a stellar spell of form, losing just one of their last eight games in all competitions.

We say: St Johnstone 0-2 Rangers

St Johnstone have a poor record against Rangers in recent years and Davidson will need a huge collective performance from his players if they are to get anything from this game on Wednesday.

The Gers will keep their standards high, despite holding a 20-point lead at the summit, and should have enough quality to beat the Saints at McDiarmid Park, to maintain their unbeaten league run.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Aberdeen vs. Celtic (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Celtic will be looking to claim their 10th Scottish Premiership victory away from home this season when they travel to Pittodrie to face Aberdeen on Wednesday evening.

This encounter will be the first time the Dons and the Hoops will face each other in the league without Neil Lennon or Derek McInnes in charge at either club since a 4-4 draw back in February 2010.

We say: Aberdeen 0-2 Celtic

An entertaining 3-3 draw was played out earlier this season when Aberdeen and Celtic last faced each other at Pittodrie, however with the hosts struggling to find the net, a goal fest is not expected on Wednesday.

Prior to that draw, Celtic had won the last 10 visits to the Dons and we feel they will get back to winning ways and secure another three points on their travels.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Kilmarnock vs. Dundee Utd (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

Relegation-threatened Kilmarnock host Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday evening, hoping to claim all three points and climb out of the bottom two.

Meanwhile, the Tangerines have now avoided relegation and will be looking to secure their third successive top-flight victory for the first time in over seven years.

We say: Kilmarnock 0-1 Dundee United

The last time Kilmarnock failed to score at home against Dundee United in the top-flight was back in November 2009. However, the visitors have recently developed a strong backline, keeping clean sheets in four of their last five matches in all competitions.

The Tangerines are in better form heading into Wednesday's match and we feel that they will just edge what is expected to be a closely-fought contest at Rugby Park.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.

Ross County vs. St Mirren (Wednesday, 7.45pm)

St Mirren face off against Ross County on Wednesday with a chance to move back to top spot of the Scottish Premiership's relegation round.

This is the second meeting between the sides since the turn of the year following a 1-0 win for the visitors back in February.

We say: Ross County 1-2 St Mirren

The visitors have found a way to constantly nick wins on the road, and the hosts are very vulnerable at the back. While we do not see the away side scoring too many goals, we expect them to outscore the home side and claim all three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting a double chance bet on a home win or an away win.
