Paris Saint-Germain to sack sporting director over Frenkie de Jong transfer?

By , Reporter | 4d
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly considering sacking sporting director Antero Henrique after missing out on the signing of Netherlands international Frenkie de Jong.

Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly began to considering sacking sporting director Antero Henrique.

The Portuguese has been entrusted with bringing high-profile names to Parc des Princes, but it appears that a failed transfer could lead to the 50-year-old being sacked by the French giants.

According to ESPN, club officials are unhappy that the club lost out to Barcelona in the race to sign Frenkie de Jong from Ajax.

The Catalan giants announced a deal for the Netherlands international earlier this week, and it has allegedly resulted in question marks emerging over the future of Henrique.

The report also claims that Adrien Rabiot's probable exit from the club in one of the next two transfer windows has also added to their disappointment.
