How Paris Saint-Germain could line up against Maccabi Haifa

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Paris Saint-Germain could line up for Wednesday's Champions League Group H clash with Maccabi Haifa.

Paris Saint-Germain will be without centre-back Presnel Kimpembe for Wednesday's Champions League Group H clash with Maccabi Haifa at the Sammy Ofer Stadium.

The defender suffered a hamstring injury when tackling Brest's Irvin Cardona at the weekend - which will rule him out for six weeks - and the challenge warranted a red card at first before VAR overturned the decision.

Luckily for Christophe Galtier, he has a well-rested Marquinhos ready to come back into the fold, and Kimpembe's injury should also see Danilo Pereira start in a three-man backline with Sergio Ramos.

Gianluigi Donnarumma was one of the heroes for PSG at the weekend after keeping out Islam Slimani's penalty, and he will hold his place as Keylor Navas misses out with a back problem.

Galtier may be tempted into a couple of changes out wide, with Nuno Mendes likely to displace Juan Bernat as Nordi Mukiele aims to demote Achraf Hakimi to the bench for the time being.

Renato Sanches is out with an adductor issue, but Galtier could still bring in Fabian Ruiz for Vitinha, who has been an ever-present of the engine room alongside Marco Verratti since his arrival.

The star-studded attacking line of Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar has clicked into gear at the start of the new term, and the trio should all start on Wednesday.

PSG possible starting lineup: Donnarumma; Pereira, Marquinhos, Ramos; Mukiele, Verratti, Ruiz, Mendes; Messi; Mbappe, Neymar body check tags ::
