Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will reportedly have £250m to spend over the next two transfer windows as the Norwegian looks to rebuild the squad.

Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire arrived at Old Trafford over the summer, but the club are still short in midfield and attack following recent departures.

According to The Sun, United are prepared to spend £250m during 2020 with Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Braut Haaland and Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho both wanted by the club.

Solskjaer has allegedly met with Haaland, who has scored 28 times in all competitions this season, ahead of a potential move during the January transfer window.

Sancho has also been strongly linked with a switch to Old Trafford, although the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City are also thought to be in the hunt.

United could move for a new central midfielder, meanwhile, amid suggestions that Paul Pogba will again look to leave the club ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

The 20-time English champions have struggled for consistency in the Premier League this season, but back-to-back wins over Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have left them just five points off fourth-placed Chelsea in the table ahead of Sunday's clash with Everton.
