Ajax defender Matthijs de Ligt's agent Mino Raiola is reportedly complicating negotiations with interested clubs by demanding a cut of the transfer fee.

The role of agent Mino Raiola is stalling Matthijs de Ligt's move away from Ajax, according to a report.

De Ligt is wanted by a host of clubs across the continent after starring for double winners Ajax this season.

Barcelona are the favourites to acquire the 19-year-old's signature, although the Catalan giants are believed to face competition from Manchester United, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.

Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo suggests that Raiola is complicating negations with interested parties, however, as he is demanding around £8m for acting as an intermediary.

The report claims that Barcelona are unwilling to hand over that amount, potentially opening the door for the other heavyweight clubs to pounce.

Despite De Ligt having his heart set on a switch to Camp Nou, it is alleged that Raiola wants to listen to how much United, Juventus, PSG and Bayern are willing to offer.
