Real Madrid are reportedly willing to offer out-of-favour midfielder Isco as a makeweight in any deal to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.

Real Madrid are reportedly considering using Isco as a makeweight in their attempts to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.

Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is still thought to see compatriot Pogba as one of his dream signings, with the World Cup-winning Frenchman having been consistently linked to a Bernabeu switch in recent years.

Los Blancos are expected to revive their interest again this summer as the 26-year-old's contract enters its final year, and they hope that United's signing of Bruno Fernandes will help to open the door for Pogba's exit.

Spanish outlet El Desmarque claims that Madrid are also willing to offer United further midfield reinforcements in the form of Isco in order to lower the £148m asking price.

The Red Devils have regularly been linked with Isco in recent years, and the Spaniard is considered dispensable by Zidane having only made nine La Liga starts this season.

Pogba, meanwhile, has been limited to just eight appearances across all competitions due to injury, with his last start for United coming in September.
