Gary Neville has suggested that he would like to see his former club Manchester United sign Borussia Dortmund star Erling Braut Haaland.

The Norwegian international is one of the brightest young talents in world football and has been heavily linked with a move to one of Europe's elite clubs next summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, as well as rivals Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Spanish giants Real Madrid, are all reportedly interested in the 20-year-old.

Neville took to Twitter where he answered questions from fans, with one asking which player he would like to see at Old Trafford, and the former England international stated "Haaland".

The striker is understood to have a £65m release clause in his contract that will become active in the summer of 2022, but he could be sold a year earlier due to Dortmund's financial concerns.

Haaland has been in fine form for the German club this campaign, scoring 27 goals and providing eight assists across just 27 appearances in all competitions. body check tags ::
