Manchester United view Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as Paul Pogba replacement?

:Headline: Manchester United view Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as Paul Pogba replacement?:
Manchester United reportedly regard Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as their preferred replacement for Paul Pogba.

Manchester United reportedly consider Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic as their ideal replacement for Paul Pogba.

Despite initial suggestions that the World Cup winner is not for sale, United are allegedly giving thought to selling the France international later in 2020.

While a number of players have been touted as possible alternatives, FootMercato says that Milinkovic-Savic is United's preferred target.

The 25-year-old has further enhanced his reputation by helping Lazio become contenders for the Serie A title this season.

Although Milinkovic-Savic has a contract at Stadio Olimpico until 2024, Lazio may consider bids in the region of £100m.

Given the funds generated from Pogba's sale, that valuation would be well within United's price range. body check tags ::
