Manchester United 'to offer Saul Niguez major wage boost'

:Headline: Manchester United 'to offer Saul Niguez major wage boost':
Manchester United are reportedly prepared to hand Saul Niguez a significant wage increase if the midfielder leaves Atletico Madrid for Old Trafford.

Manchester United are reportedly willing to hand a significant pay rise to Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez.

While the Spaniard has a contract at Wanda Metropolitano until 2026, it has been suggested that Atletico are open to a sale for the right price.

With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looking to make changes to his squad, United have been heavily linked with the 25-year-old.

According to The Sun, the Premier League giants are willing to pay Saul an extra £85,000 per week if he agrees to move to Old Trafford.

That would see the long-serving Atletico player earn in the region of £200,000 every seven days, putting him in the same bracket as several of United's key men.

Although Saul has a release clause of £135m, it is claimed that United are only willing to spend £70m on his signature.
