Manchester United have reportedly set Paul Pogba's asking price at £150m in a bid to fend off interest from Real Madrid.

Zinedine Zidane is said to be an admirer of his French compatriot, which has allegedly resulted in the head coach convincing president Florentino Perez to make an official approach for the 26-year-old.

United remain against a sale, however, despite the midfielder having just two years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford.

According to The Mirror, the Premier League giants have told Real that they must spend £150m if they wish to sign Pogba during the summer transfer window.

The report adds that Real are currently only prepared to pay £135m, leaving United with a decision to make regarding a player who is seemingly against penning fresh terms.

Real are said to be prepared to part ways with Gareth Bale if it helps secure the signature of Pogba.
