Manchester United are reportedly preparing a swoop for Stoke City defender Nathan Collins.

Collins was handed his league debut for Stoke at the start of April and went on to make three Championship appearances for the Potters before the end of the 2018-19 campaign.

According to The Sun, former United midfielder Darren Fletcher has made the Red Devils aware of the centre-back's talents, having watched him closely during his time at the bet365 Stadium.

The report has claimed that the 20-time English champions are ready to take Fletcher's advice when it comes to Collins, meaning that an offer will be submitted in this summer's transfer window.

The Under-17 Republic of Ireland international also made 15 Premier League 2 appearances for Stoke's Under-23 side during the 2018-19 campaign.
