Manchester United target Ibrahim Sangare has called a potential transfer to the Premier League his "dream" move.

The Red Devils are looking to strengthen their midfield this summer, with Sangare and Frenkie de Jong are among those that have been linked with a transfer to Old Trafford.

While De Jong has recently indicated that he is keen to remain at Barcelona, Sangare has stated that it would be his "dream" to join a Premier League club.

The PSV Eindhoven midfielder told De Telegraf in May: "I am a PSV player and I am concentrating on the three games we have left this season.

"I don't have my head in other things. After that, I'll go on holiday and I'll have time to talk about possible next projects, but until then I don't want to worry about that.

"Playing in the Premier League is not only a dream of mine, but a dream of every footballer. That is the biggest and most important league in the world."

According to The Mirror, Man United have the option to trigger Sangare's £29.8m release clause.

The 24-year-old has appeared in 88 games for PSV, scoring five goals from midfield in those contests. body check tags ::
