Real Madrid 'to offer Gareth Bale, James Rodriguez for Paul Pogba'

Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to swap Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Real Madrid are reportedly ready to offer Manchester United the opportunity to sign Gareth Bale and James Rodriguez in exchange for Paul Pogba.

With the France international having been sidelined for much of the campaign, United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is said to be increasingly open to parting ways with the 26-year-old in January.

According to El Desmarque, Real will try to take advantage of the situation by presenting United with the chance to bring in both Bale and Rodriguez.

While the pair are only regarded as squad players at the Bernabeu, they could each potentially hold down a regular starting spot at Old Trafford.

However, with Pogba still having over two-and-a-half years remaining on his contract, United may insist on a straight cash offer if they are to allow their club-record signing to make the switch to Los Blancos.
