Frenkie de Jong's father claims that the Barcelona midfielder does not favour a move to Manchester United due to the "bad weather" in the north west.

The father of Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong has hinted that a switch to Manchester United is not of interest to the Dutchman.

Given the Blaugrana's long-running financial problems and elimination from the Champions League, the Catalan club are thought to be open to selling De Jong in 2022.
