Mark Bosnich expects Paul Pogba to stay at Manchester United

:Headline: Mark Bosnich expects Paul Pogba to stay at Manchester United:
Mark Bosnich expects Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to remain at Old Trafford despite persistent speculation linking the Frenchman with a move elsewhere.

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Mark Bosnich has expressed his belief that Paul Pogba will remain at Old Trafford amid speculation regarding his future.

The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in the past few months, with Real Madrid said to be keeping a close eye on developments surrounding the midfielder.

However, Bosnich, who made 35 appearances for United between 1999 and 2001, believes that Pogba will stay in Manchester beyond the summer.

Speaking to Stats Perform, Bosnich said: "If I had to put money on it right now, I think he will stay, I really do.

"If you've got a player in the dressing room, regardless of whether it's Paul Pogba or Paul Smith, you let them go in the most amicable way possible.

"There's no use carrying someone who doesn't want to be in your club because it affects their performance and it can start to affect the performances of people around them.

"There's no doubting [Pogba is] a world-class player. With the arrival of Bruno Fernandes and the team winning and playing well, it makes a huge difference.

"If he (Pogba) can come back and play to his full potential, that is fantastic news - not only for him and Fernandes but for Manchester United and all their supporters."

Pogba has not turned out for United since December through injury, making only seven Premier League appearances for the Red Devils this term. body check tags ::
