Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma has reportedly been advised to improve his off-field conduct if he seeks a move to a bigger club in the near future.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Amex Stadium, after revealing his ambitions to play in the Champions League.

According to the Transfer Window Podcast, via Caught Offside, Bissouma is admired by Manchester United and Liverpool, who are both in the market for midfield reinforcements.

The Red Devils have identified the Mali international as a potential alternative to long-term target Declan Rice, while Jurgen Klopp is said to still be looking to replace Georginio Wijnaldum following his summer departure from Anfield to Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.

However, the report states that Bissouma has been warned that he will need to improve his professionalism on the training ground if he is to earn himself a big-money transfer, having previously had some off-field issues with the Seagulls regarding his discipline.

Bissouma has been a key cog in Graham Potter's Brighton side since joining from Lille in 2018, making 101 appearances across all competitions. body check tags ::
