Barcelona 'want permanent exit for Manchester United target Ousmane Dembele'

Ousmane Dembele looks set to stay at Barcelona as Manchester United have reportedly not stepped forward with a permanent offer for the France international.

Barcelona will reportedly not consider offloading Ousmane Dembele to Manchester United on loan.

The Red Devils are said to be reluctant to splash out on a new attacker after missing out on top target Jadon Sancho.

Dembele and Watford winger Ismaila Sarr have emerged as rumoured back-up options, but a move is unlikely to go through for either.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Barca have informed United that it is a permanent transfer or nothing.

France international Dembele has struggled for form and fitness since joining Barca in a £131m deal three years ago.

Ronald Koeman hinted at the weekend that the wideman could still be on his way out of Camp Nou before Monday's deadline, with the Catalans supposedly seeking around £60m.
