Gabriel Agbonlahor says that Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish should be aiming to join a bigger club than Manchester United.

After starring for the West Midlands outfit in the Premier League this season, Grealish is being tipped to secure a transfer to Old Trafford during the summer.

However, Agbonlahor, who made 391 appearances for Villa during his career, feels that the playmaker would not live up to his potential at the North-West giants.

The 33-year-old told The Sun: "I am not just saying this as I have played with him, but I honestly think he is the best attacking midfield option that England have got at this current time.

"That is why, when people say Grealish to Manchester United, he could do so much better than that. He could walk into any team in the world, even Barcelona or Juventus.

"For where Manchester United are now, he could go to better teams around the world, so he doesn't need to limit himself to just United and focus on teams who are playing in the Champions League."

Ahead of Sunday's EFL Cup final against Manchester City, Grealish has suggested that he is happy to stay at his boyhood club.
